pitbull spools?
who has put pitbull spool inserts on thier f4i? i'm hate and i'm tired of using the paded stand. i sometimes nearly drop the bike gettin it on the stand and it seems to always leave some blemish or smuges on the swingarm after i use it. i'd also like to leave the bike on the rear stand while not riding and i don't trust the pad set-up at all. i'm just kind of worried about drilling into my swingarm and weakening it possibly? anybody got ant any experience with the inserts? thanks

RE: pitbull spools?
just weld the tabs forspools. take it to a good welder and have it done, this way you don't have to remove swingarm and send it away. no downtime.
don't do the inserts. some have had issues on the pipe side as when you're near full compression it could hit unless you have highmount.
now...about the pads...don't blame the stand...it's YOU! mauahahha...
i've been using it for 5 years...never had any issues, never dropped the bike, etc. get the bike on there in less than 5 seconds. let me guess...you have T-Rex stands?

nope, i got a fly racing alumnum stand and it flexes too much. i might just buy a lockhardt philips or something else. i saw the pitbull weld on aluminum spool adapters on thier website (16.95 i think). i just don't know a welder in this area that will do it correctly. also, if i weld on the spool adapters won't that void my warranty for any swingarm related items? thanks
