Default Pictures and a Question

I Introduced myself in the New section so for my complete story your welcome to read it there. But I thought I'd post up some pictures of the bike. Today I changed the oil and added my lowering links. I just didnt feel that comfortable on it only being like 5'5 I could just touch the tips of my toes on both sides.

On to my question. After the bike warms up a bit say over 100 and I rev it past 4000 rpm I get a vibration out of I think the front of the bike and I cant tell where it is coming from, it is a kind of high pitch rattle. Also after I took it out for a lap around my apartment complex and put it back on its kickstand as soon as I let the clutch lever out the bike shakes ever sligtly and you can here again a different rattle.. Any ideas on these??

Its probably your CCTL. It won't hurt the bike to ride, just annoying to listen to it. When you get your rpms over 5K's it will got away. Its not too hard to replace, there are a ton of threads on how to change it. Do a search on the topic.

The Tail and both sides are original, the Upper and Front fender I painted with silver spray paint and clear out of a can lol. If I would of put one more coat on the Upper (since I only did one coat of silver) It would of looked a little closer but honestly if you stand 5 ft from the bike you really cant tell, if I would wetsand them a little it would be even better, I was surprised how close I got out of a can of paint.

I have a similar very high pitch rattle from the front of the bike. I can replicate it consistently and its more around 6-7K rpms. I've discovered if i hold the key it goes away so i guess its something in the ignition switch. i'm not worried about it anymore, its just annoying

Thats a really good job considering the paint was from a rattle can. [8D]

I'm actually considering buying a used f4i but it has to have the left fairing replaced due to a lowside and I was thinking if I couldn't find a white/red fairing I would just buy the silver/red one and paint the stripes white to match the bike. Anyways heres the thread let me know what you think.

I can go see what brand spray paint I used, I know when I did the front fender did a nice black primor layer, followed by 2 coats of the silver and then 4-5 coats of the clear, maybe more if I decided to wetsand it later.
