Just wondering if its time to get some new tires, fron tlooks real good but the rear I am unsure of, tire also has a lil sand on it..Got about 4-5k on it

 

every tire has a tread wear mark if it's past that little arrow its time to change it, just look for that.

 

Where is this tread wear mark? I've never seen it on my tire and I'm always curious what people are talking about and finally I'll just admit I'm noob enough to not know. Can someone take a picture and post it?

 

thats my rear tire thats soon scheduled for replacement. as you can see, near the edge of the tire, the little michilen man logo indicates where the wear bar is. all tires have some sort of indicator of where the wear bar is.

 

 

+1.. That mark is usually @ 2/32 of an inch.. I usually change my tires @ 4/32 to 5/32.

 

since that picture was taken... about 8 weeks ago, ive passed that wear bar and im living on the edge! hahaha
