dang that shat is the bomb yo! hehe very nice... can you say how much u bought the bike and invested in it? i want to do a project like that also. not a mechanic but i am a electrician just need to learn that stuff so i can fix my own shat that would be koo... keep us posted good job!

I actually bought the bike dirt cheap off my buddy, the repo company took it from him because he fell behind on his payments and when he got it back the basically stripped the bike completely no fairings (front or sides) no headlight, looked like the took a baseball bat to the gas tank, snapped the tail fairing in 3 places broke on of the clip ons ect. they were a$$holes big time, so after he got itback he never road it again it just sat in his shed for about 3yrs until I offered him $500 for it. but Ive invested thousands to get the bike completely custom the way it is. Im going for a customized one of a kind CLEAN and smooth look but with all the performance goodies too

 

Finally my chrome tripple tree came in, notw its pretty much just waiting on Vortex for my rear sprocket still and slap the side fairing on and I should be good to go.

hey trikked, are you going to even ride the bike this summer or are you planning to roll it out in dec of 09' ?
all the time in to it and not too much time on it make any rider very unstable

 

Trust me man its KILLIN ME not being able to ride this thing, I planned on having everything ready for last april but everything and anything is taking 400 times longer then it should, my swingarm and paint took over 4 months, I dropped that off in Febuary to make sure I would have that back for april but ofcourse not but I got it back 2 days after I told off the owner, then I sent out my tripple tree to chrome east ( NEVER USE THEM!) they took about 2 months and they told me the turn around time was 2 days, and the only thing I am still waiting on is Vortex I ordered a 48 tooth rear sprocket from them about a month ago and they cant even get that done, I geuss they never made a 48 tooth sprocket for that arm but who knows why its taking so long, Ive called but got no where, another paint shop had my tank for a month to put the yellow decals on the tank and clear it but ofcourse they are having a hard time getting the decals thats why the tank is still red and black I took it back becuase I got tired of waiting and they still havent called to tell me if they got them in or not.
I was off the entire week last week getting pissed becuase I was waiting for my chrome tripple tree and still waiting on my sprocket which by the way I paid for OVER NIGHT shipping over a month ago. Im just finding EVERY $hitty place to do work for my bike I geuss at this point I gave up on riding this season its not even worth it now my brand new Shoei Diabolic helmet has been sitting in my closet since March.
