No you can actually see through it in daylight. If you look closely at the crappy cell phone pic on the right you can tell at the top that is see-through.

In my opinion, there is no reason to HAVE to look through the windscreen. I had a Ninja last year and painted the windscreen black. Looked good.


For my F4i I bought a dark smoked windscreen from Japan, costing me all of $20 USD. Check sig.

only reason I went with a smoked screen instead of painting the stocker is for my cam. Otherwise who looks thru the ws on the street anyhow? lol

I have a carbon fiber windscreen on bike now but might try the paint thing on the old stock winscreen. Did you have to do anything to the plastic before u painted it so the paint wouldn't peel off and do they make the fusion paint in alot of different colors? Maybe chrome?

I went to 3 different stores to see what kind of Fusion paint they had and never saw chrome. Here is a list of the different colors they offer.
