Ever considered how much more you can learn about a bike and the way it works when you can actually ride a bike near its limits? 90% of 600 riders will never unlock anywhere near the full potential of what their bike can do.

If you wanted to keep the helmet dry if it rains and you're using a net, just bring a plastic bag or two, I'm sure it'll keep most of the water out, and it's easy to carrying around.

Zero, thats a good idea haha.

And jp greenville you are 100% right. I ride my bike every day no matter what the weather, recently drove to work at 06:00 AM at -13 degrees celcius ( 8 degrees F ) and I also use it in wet, Icy and hot days. I know exactly how hard I can push my bike unlike most people who will never know how hard they can push theirs. It may be only able to reach 75MPH maxxed out, but I know what me and my and my bike are capable of and what we're not, and if you ask me, I think it's a pretty damn good bike and i've enjoyed it so much since i've had it.

There is also a saying that goes something like ' Anyone can drive fast in a straight line, but it takes a real rider to take speed around bends '

So a 125 can be a faster bike than a 600 or even a 1000.

Judge the rider, not the bike.

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow.

Isn't that the truth. When I had the ninja winding up in the rev's it felt so fun and hardcore.

lol....I had the bike, the fun factor lasted a couple rides. Show me someone ride a 125 faster than a 600 or 1000! Yes anyone can ride fast in a straight line.....except cbr 125 riders....lol.....I did like the fuel consumption but my commute is 50km's so I went to an f3 to an 02f4i.

sorry about jacking the thread.

When I first get on my 600 I can guarantee that I could throw my 125 round twisty roads faster and with less fear.

An average rider on a 600 will go no faster than a pro on a 125. (Not saying that I'm a pro, but you get the point...)

It depends how you ride the bike... You can be slow and still be fast.

Yea, I'm a firm believer in the "when youre in a hole stop digging" theory. Hopefully he will come to his senses
