I have used Fram filers on every vehicle I've owned for more than 15 years. No problems!! It's not being cheap, it's using what has always worked. Sure there are a lot of tests out there to say this or that but you can't argue real world results. There are also a lot of people around the world (i.e. outside of the USA) who think we are nuts for changing oil every 1,2,3,4,5,6K miles. I read an article in a cycle mag that quoted a serious hard rider from Brazil who changes his every 10K miles and his bike is his livelyhood.

That's probably because he makes like $7 US in a year and has no alternative. We as americans have money and are willing to spend. No point in cheaping out on everything.
