oil/coolant change

10w-30 is some think stuff for a bike. in hour dealership (interstate honda) we like to use 5w-30 mobile one, or redline. because it's not a car with high compression. but whatever you want that cool. but it's 3 quorts of oil. start it then you add the .5 after you get the oil filter filled.

Just check the oil level glass while the bike is upright and fill to the middle. K&N oil filters are the best, they come with a 13-14mm bolt connected for easy replacement.
I don't believe that's a bolt, it's a nut welded on top. I could be wrong though.

Is the reason for that to prevent overfill? I just added the 3.5 qts at once and that brought me right to the top line
