Yes you do !!! however there is a plug that dynojet sells and some other places sell a plug to fool the computer! You might want to look into it tho! I think with dyno jets you have to have a pc!!

The down side to doing this from what i have herd is when you hit the twisites! Because its not being allowed to read whats actually coming out of your motor it will run really poorly at high alltitude!

What you could do if the bootleg pipe is going to be custom made then find a exhaust manufacture that will sell the mid pip alone with the 02 senosr fitment and make your measuresments of your muffler of the diamter the midpipe! Thats what im doing! You might have to call them!!

The MAP sensor has more to do with the fueling than the O2 sensor. At high altitude, the manifold absolute pressure will be lower anyway. The O2 is only accurate around stoich mixtures and the engine only uses stoich mixtures during part-throttle cruising at lower MAP readings.

Like Daffy said, look and see if there is an O2 sensor in the exhaust to begin with.

That's why I said to see if there's even one there. CA models have them, but Tofast neglected to mention what model year we're talking about.

do a search, O2 sensor on the bike doesn't work nearly the same as cars. only purpose is to lean out the mixture for gas efficiency.

if you toss it and replace with the sensor eliminator, you'll see you MPG drop and that's it. no difference in performance.

pc3 can be used with or without the O2 eliminator...
