Default Is this the norm? (not for 56k)

I am trying to adjust my chain and from what I read there should be 2 sockets needed a 22 and 27mm or something like that. On my bike, 02 f4i the side with the chain only has a round side with what looks like a place for a allen key or something, but home depot only sells up to 10mm which I have and it's too small. Is this what is normally here or did the previous owner do something weird??? And I know i know, it's dirty as hell lol

Its normal, same as on my 01 f4i....Your just looking at it wrong. Dont worry about that big azz bolt. Look at the smaller bolt at the very end. Tighten or loosen that bolt on both sides. Make sure they are the same tightness by looking at the bracket on the swingarm lining up with the BLUE line......=-)

I know how to adjust the chain, my question is about the axle bolt. The one I need to use to tighten up the wheel after everything is adjusted

The previous owner replaced the OEM nut.

what you can do it find a bolt head that fits in there, see what size it is with a socket, and then go buy a hex key at sears that will fit in there. thats what i would try

I had this problem with a socket i need to adjust my valves on my raptor. It ended up being a 22mm allen wrench which was hard to find. I found out the size by putting 2 allen wrenches together in the hole(to measure the distance to find out the size). Then I had to go to a local parts store and order the right size tool. I know craftsman has the sizes but sears doesnt carry them so you will probably have to order them. Snap on... etc. Then your all set and I think mine cost me like 25$ for the stupid little allen wrench socket.
