Engine is in a 2008 RZR and used to run fantastic until just recently.

I have FI light 2, 8, and 9 which is map, tps, and iat. I checked the sensors and they all tested good and the wiring checked good leading to ECM.Fuel pump primes, I have good spark although it seems a bit slow or maybe a bit weak.I have pulled and cleaned injectors and they're all spraying good. And I have 50psi of fuel pressure. Only thing I haven't actually checked is compression or valve adjustment but compression seems strong. My problem started out as being difficult to keep running and if I let it die out then it wouldn't start for like an hour. Then it got to the point of being difficult to start and if it would start it wouldn't rev above 2500 rpms. Now I'm at the point of no starting at all just the occasional sputter. Won't even start with starting fluid.

Well as an update I have even more stored fi lights and a solid Fi light. Still won't run. Starting to think it's really just the ECM. I have FI 5, and 6 now which isn't even in the service manual. It starts off 2, 5, 6, 12, 8, 9.

Will the stored codes clear out if I hold the battery cables together for awhile like you can do in a car?

Unfortunately I can't. I have the key switch eliminator. I would have to cut my harness up.
