I just installed my undertail tonight. I got it off ebay. Its fiberglass and the fitment was ok.
I dont know if I'll keep the sidemount but I love the clean look without a license plate.

what happens to the turn siginals? are they integrated or something?

 

How difficult is the installation? Have to cut/modify anything to make it fit? Is this undertail strictly for 04-06 or can it fit an 01 also? Let me know, I've heard of some undertails that were extremely difficult to install and didn't fit well, so people had to cut a lot. Also, some undertails, the lights aren't exactly very bright and you can't tell the difference between when the brake lights are on or just running.

 

The turn singals are integrated into the tail lights. They actually have their own set of LED's inside the round pods. Not that bright and will most likely get some flush mounts.

The install was pretty easy. I had to cut the stock undertail. I didn't have to cut or drill anything on the aftermarket undertail. I just slid it into place and fastened it in. The soldering took the longest and that was really easy. The brake lights and running rights are noticeably different. The blinkers on the other hand are not that bright. This kit is strictlyfor 04-06. I think they sell an 01 kit. Can't really go wrong at 99 bucks plus shipping. Just my $.02

 

damn... was hoping something this cheap would be good all around. too bad the blinkers are not bright. maybe i'll pick this set up anyway... i was planning on doing my LED pegs anyway.
