NEw PIPE Install and Question
2006 F4i two brothers M2 exhaust... I just got mine today.....and I recieved what I believe is the wrong mid pipe.I talked with the dealer and he said that all 2006 bikes have the sensor and that the aftermarket pipe companies...some of them have not rotated there stock and installed the nut needed for the sensor. There are ways around this with the sensor eliminator....if ya want fouled plugs and crappy gas milage thats the way to go......make sure you get the right mid pipe for your bike. I installed mine just to get the stock one off and love the look. The thing that worries me is how close the mid pipe is to the swing arm....almost touching within 1/4 inch.....is this typical? I even installed a extra washer to bring pipe away from the swingarm. If I were to install it per directions it would rub for sure.Any thoughts ...thanks

RE: NEw PIPE Install and Question
O2 sim will just get you crappy mileage...but not fouled plugs. i've had it on for about 32K miles with no problems...other than bad mileage.
you can drill a hole and weld a nut onto the midpipe and thread the sensor in there.
as far as clearance...is this 1/4 to the side or 1/4 from the bottom of the swingarm? my akra hugs the swingarm with about 1/4 inch clearance...very much needed or else the midpipe/pipe scrapes when suspension is compressed in turns. just make sure you bunce the rear a few times to see if it hits during full compression and also check to see if it hits when the rear is fully unloaded...if not...then you have no problems. to unload the rear, balance the bike on the sidestand and see where it's at.

RE: NEw PIPE Install and Question
Thanks for the input.....I talked with Honda and 2bros today learned that all bikes are fitted with the O2 sensor even if they arent in Calif. 2Bros is shipping me the new mid pipe with the O2 sensor nut installed. They said that they are aware of the problem and are making changes, but they still have the straight mid pipes on hand for people without sensors. They helped alot.....So when I get the new mid...pics and sounds a coming. Clearence is 1/4 inch + or - from the side of swingarm. should be good to go. Now Iam looking at a digital gear indicator...seams like there alot of options out there...
