Welcome to the forum! Post up some pictures of your new bike

As for the tires, I had some mismatched tires as well when I first got Julia. It'll be fine, especially if you are just learning. I would recommend eventually buying a set of matching tires when you need to change out this set. Different kinds/brands/models of tires have different characteristics and profiles so both ends of the bike can behave identically.

Welcome

Take the picture and upload it into photobucket or tunblr. Once its uploaded you can click the image and it will have a "links to share this image" place on the page with a couple options....click on the IMG url address and it should say copied. After that just paste the IMG code on here and you will have a picture

Good tires/fresh tires increases confidence. Better grip, quicker turn in, greater stability during cornering. Definitely get a matching set when your funds allow you to! Many of the members here can share their tire experiences; most run Pilot Powers. Bottom line though, it's all about your personal preference.
