Hey guys, new F4i Member here. I'm a newb . Been riding for about 3 months now, this is my first bike. Looks like a ton of useful info and lots of wisdom. Thanks for having me!

2005 CBR 600 F4i- So far just a scorpion slip on, and some minor cosmetic touches.

Welcome man, great forum here. Lots of knowledge floating around, the search function works great for most questions.

Ditch that mesh/cargo holder for a targa seat cowl! Like the silver/red color scheme, not a fan of colored windshields but this one seems alright. How do you like that slip on? How loud? Nice deep rumble or a bit high pitch?

Thanks, I'll get a better photo, this one doesn't really show the color acurately. I don't much like the color windscreens either but this one seemed to really make it stand out. The slip on sounds mid to lower tone, no buzz, really aggressive sounding. It's not as throaty or loud as the microns but I like it. Yeah the mesh thing kind of looks like strapping a basket to a bicycle, I want to do the split tail conversion eventually. [:-]

Welcome to the forum!!! And CONGRATS on the new bike!! It looks great, though I too am not a huge fan of the colored windscreens (on any bike), but the bike still looks great regardless. Excellent choice with the F4i.... it's an awesome bike, you'll love it... I promise

Good luck with the new ride.... enjoy it and ride safe!

It had just over 3,000 when i bought it, and i paid 5,700. came with the exhaust, jacket and a nice shoei. I felt bad for the guy selling it, looked like he was about to tear up when he handed over the keys . He took really good care of it. I'm sure alot of this is bias, but I think the F4i is the best or one of the top 2 looking bikes out there. I love the full fairing look and the shape of the tail (with the cowl).
