Default New delkevic plastics!! Need some input and a few questions answered1

So my bike build is coming along well, few more items i need to get her on the streets. My new plastics arrived, i also had ordered some used ones too. The delkevics look good, everything comes together nicely. A few things i have noticed when comparing them to oem is they are not nearly as flexible, but they are lighter. I need to paint them, im not sure what type of paint to use, do i need to add a bonding agent and a flex agent? As of now with no paint on them i do recommend them as far as replacement plastics, for 400 dollers i cant go wrong. They were shipped from china, only took a week. However there is a reason they are cheaper than hondas oem, but for what i paid im happy.

I was wondering if you need to use anything to protect the plastic from heat, or should I just take of the pieces from the old factory pieces that are all scuffed up?

i WOULD use a bonding agent. i had to redo the first interior i painted cause i didnt use any and it started to flake. so now i use it on any plastic i paint. are you gonna spraypaint em? if so i recccomend going to a paint shop that can mix paint and put it in THEIR cans. it'll be better paint and those cans have way better tips and when done right you cant even tell it was done at home. also make sure you give em ample time to cure before you use em.

I am interested in the process of painting/spray painting OEM stock fairings due to the scuffs etc...is there a writeup with pics or tutorial on how to do this? (with materials list and step-by-step process etc..) I know people take off and paint their own fairings all the time so I'm hoping there is a good writeup somwhere! I would like to go all pearl black except for the gas tank. Anyone have a link?!
