having 20k is why you found yours cheaper. Thats 20k miles that you have know idea on how the bike was ridden. for less than 4k miles the price isnt far off.

 

I also agree it's not very far off. It also depends how bad you want the bike Either way you know it was hardly ridden.

 

I bought an 05 with 4k miles for $3800. Bike is pristine no drops

 

I have that exact bike, got mine with 4900 on the clock and two brand new battle-axes for 3k I would try and get him down

 

Sounds close. Offer $4000 and it would be fair I think.

It seems after looking online more that allot of street bikes in my area (northern california) are marked over their value. I figured this is because race bikes are popular out here, particularly CBRs. Oh well its sooo worth it to me!

So heres the two bikes i was looking at, both are about $4,500, both are about ten years old, and both have super low miles. Im just looking for a bike in amazing "like new" condition, color means very little.

I would love to get your guys two cents. Please, if you had a choice which would you get and why?

I get a better feeling about number 1. It looks nicer and doesn't sound like its been down like number 2 has.

that is about the going price. miles are low for a 03. few yrs ago i sold my 03 600rr for 4500.00 and it had 17k miles on it with several short falls to boot.
