New Addition
Many of you know that earlier this year I picked up my (for my wife) first F4i. It's a 2006 in the Perl Shinning Yellow / Titanium Metalic. Here she is in all her glory.
Now clearly something is wrong with this picture. She has 2 bikes, the Purple 1997 F3 and now the F4i and I've only got one. At first it wasn't an issue, but after a while it started to itch just a little. Next thing you know it, I'm doing searches for another one.
Well I'm happy to report that I recently won this little beauty and will be making the trip to pick her up later this month. I'm always up for a road trip to pick up a bike. It's located in southern Alabama so it won't be a long trip, but long enough for us to get acquainted.

Thanks, we had gotten it up to 5 bikes earlier this year, but I sold my 1994 CBR 1000F and a 2004 Rebel 250 that we had. 3 seemed to be a good number, but there is something to be said for fuel injection. The throttle response is really nice and no choke to deal with and no fuel petcock either. Anyway, we're looking forward to the new addition to the stable.

Finally going to be picking her up. I'm flying to Auburn, AL tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Owner is picking me up at airport in Columbus, GA. Will head South towards warmer weather and will spend the night near Live Oak, FL. On Sunday I'll make the final ride to S. FL. I've been looking forward to this for several weeks.
I'll be taking US 27 S. out of Columbus down to BainBridge, then E on US 84 to Thomasville, then S on US 19 to Monticello, finally taking 90 W to Live Oak. Should be a nice ride. I've traveled on US 84 before on our trip out to Austin, TX earlier this year.
