Neutral to 1st
I've been experiencing the same thing with my '04. I thought something may have been wrong and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue. I'll try rocking the bike back and forth next time but I too found it's best to try and downshift as you're stopping.

+1. I get this a lot too. Release the cluth a little bit and she'll slip right in. I have the same problem with my car when trying to get it from neutral to reverse.

Yea rocking back abd forth makes you look like an idiot. Just let the clutch out to where it starts to slip while pressing on the shifter and it will click right in. Happens alot its normal
