Default need a small favor

I need to know the distance at the tips between the two uprights on an 02 f4i front fairing stay. I need to know if the one I have is bent before I get my fairings back from paint so I can get a new one if necessary.

Thanks in advance

You need to be more specific because I have no idea what you're talking about. Take a photo and draw arrows on it or something for the measurment that you need.

outside to outside, tip to tip, I got 12-1/2" +/- kind of hard to get an accurate distance on a funny shaped part.

Yup, 12-1/2" +/- Like dwhite645 mentioned, it is hard to get an accurate measurement of this part when mounted on the bike.

Hope this helps,
-John
