Default Need slip on advice - please

Hello, my first post so greetings to all. I have a question about a scorpion slip on. This is my first bike that I've ever had and I just got it the other day. I bought an '06 CBR 600 F4i (I believe it's the same as an '05). Anyway, as part of a promotion, the dealer threw in a Scorpion titanium flame slip on. Mounting it will be super easy, until I saw what apears to be an oxygen sensor. The scorpion parts don't have a bung hole to thread the o2 sensor into the pipe anywhere and the factory bung hole is behind the clamp, meaning when the factory stuff slips off, I won't be able to mount the sensor. What do I do with it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

since the dealer threw in the pipe as part of the promotion to sell the bike, make them give you a pipe that you can use without having to make modifications to the pipe. - or have them do the modifications to make it work. sounds like you need a california version of the pipe (i beleive they accomodate the O2 sensor). i believe the O2 sensor helps with gas mileage on the highway (hope i got it right this time). you probably don't want to bypass it.

Thanks for the info. When I bought the bike, the dealer offered to install it, but I declined since I'm good at doing things myself like that. I did solve the problem though. After digging online, Some have gotten and eliminator for it I believe, but I decided to leave it in as intended and just welded on an M12 x 1.25 nut then coated it with high temp manifold paint. Works great. Thanks again for the reply!
