Does anyone know if a 2000 f4 clutch cover will fit on an 03 f4i? need answer asap. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE HELP!

 

Pretty sure the one I bought for my old 03 was off of an 01. and it fit fine. so I would imagine a 2000 would fit.

 

im looking at buying a chrome clutch cover and its for an f4. thats why i asked lol. honda can't make anything simple can they lol

 

99-00 is the f4, 01-03 is the f4i with the split seats. the engines are different in these two bikes because one has carburetors and the other is fuel injected, so it might not fit. im not sure. can someone provide some input?

 

i bet it will, have you checked the numbers on bike bandit? im pretty sure the lower end was the same, from what ive heard is that the f4i is just a fuel injected f4, but thats rumor-ive never investiated that

 

Oh crap. read through the first post to fast, you are correct. However, I think the clutch covers will be the same..hopefully someone can say for 100% soon though.

 

Yes the clutch covers are the same. The engines are the same except the F4i has a pulse sensor on the cams which means the head is slightly different, and the timing is slightly different. Covers are interchangeable aswell as most internal parts.
