RE: My New 2005 CBR F4i !!
that looks awesome. I'm doing the same thing with mine, same color and year so i had a question for ya. I was wondering what brand of paint you used to have it painted. I'm guessing you brought it to a shop and had them paint it? I know there's the code already on the bike but i was wondering if there was anything else you factored into the paint to get it to match the bike perfectly or close to perfect. Thanks

Thanks, I think it looks pretty sweet myself, but I'm just partial. If you are referring to the tail fairing, I bought it off of ebay, which was rashed to hell and back. Here is my buds website, click on services to see what looked like before and after, qualitycycleparts.com A friend of mine did some body work to it and then I took it to a local bodyshop that he recommended. I gave them the paint code and they painted it. For the undertail I also bought off of ebay and the guy I bought it from had it painted and it came with the leds.

Well, I'm new to bikes completely, but when I bought my '06 F4i last week, the dealer threw in a Scorpion titanium slip on with the flame/heat colored look to the can and it sounds great! When I let it run in the garage at idle, it shakes and vibrates picture frames on the walls inside. Has a nice semi deep tone that sounds like it means business. It's also a straight thru can, no baffles to speak of I guess. I did get it for free, so I can't complain about it.

RE: My New 2005 CBR F4i !!
I wanted to resurreect this thread because I have a question about installing a Yoshimura RS-3 Slip on on my 06 F4i. In the directions it says to drill a 3/16inch hole in the stock header. Why is this nessecary? and Do you need any high temp silicon for the install? I know the directions don't say so but I was wondering. Any help would be cool
