Around here it can be held for traffic investigation, but other than that no. All u need is proof of ownership, proof of ins. and valid license driver. Also valid plates. That is Indiana law though, I don't have a clue bout the "Good ol'boys down in Texas". He probably lucky he didn't get a *** whippin to boot.

yea it really sucks because he went down there to get an interview with dell to get a new job... hes already gave up the on the bike he said hes just gunna let it go and buy another bike.. im going to try to get it out and keep it.. he said if i can get it out and pay for everything i can keep it

my friend was coming from waco texas to dallas texas and a cop tried to pull him over he speed of like some of us would (i dont wanna hear about keep it to the track and stuff like that) but he desided a lil way not to run (beat the **** out of me why) he pulls over and goes to jail his tickets are wreckless indangerment and avading arrest... now hes out of jail but they want to keep his bike and wants him to go threw alot of paper work (alot of money) to get his bike out and by the time he could get his bike out the fines/paper work would have accumlated to more then what the bike was worth... can they do that? and can he do anything about it???
