I crashed my bike today, my poor 2001 cbr600f4i.I was going down a hill andI wanted to scrub off some speed, so I went for the front brake and it locked up straight away, it was all over down I went. I just had it serviced the day before, and they put four new brake pads put in the front. I was wearing myhjc helmet, leather gloves, jeans and my alpinestars sx-1 jacket. My upper body is fine, but my knees are all cut up. I have been riding for 4 years at least once a day, and this is my first crash. I dohave insurance, time for a new bikeI guess.


It hit a bank at the side of the road. The back wheel has been pushed up through the seat.

 

Man that sucks, beautiful bike. What are you going to look at next for a bike?

 

I was just looking at trading it in for a 2006 cbr1000rr last week... lol..

 

ohman that sux, but look at it in a positive way, you'll get more for it totaled than for a trade in, and you got some experience doing stoppies now, lol, you should buy the bike back from the insurance company after they total it and sell the parts

 

so that's how an f4i would look like lowered all the way down to the ground. lol.
