Default my cbr dies

Hi I'm new to this forum as I just bought my first bike last night. It is an 01 600 this morning after the bike fully warmed up I am having the same problem. I have to get on the gas really hard to be able to take off and when I do the bike jerks really hard and will die halfway in intersection. Once it gets past 3k rpms it's comPletly fine any ideas? All would be apriciated.

My bike which I just bought last night does the exact same thing. I **** to get on the throttle hard to take off once bike is fully warmed up. It will jerk and lose all rpms and even stall. Once it gets past 3k rpm it's fine but if I shift and my rpms drop below 3k it will jerk and back fire. Any ideas?

A dumb question....Have you riden a motorcycle before? Possibly not enough gas while letting clutch out? Or is it definitely motor related?

Defenantly motor related. It takes off fine cold just once it warms up is when it acts up

what octane fuel are you using?
when's the last time you changed the plugs?
is your fuel filter good? air filter really dirty?
does the bike smell like you've been riding a bike after you get off? as in its running rich?
next time it starts acting up you could try opening your gas tank to relieve pressure, if that is happening.
did the person you bought it from seem to be a stunter or any other evidence the previous owner would of burnt out the clutch?

I just bought the bike so I know very little about the bike history. Not sure about the octaine in the tank it came with a full tank and I've only used about half. I was gonna top it off with 91 and add seafoam just to see if it helps. If not then I will start checking out the other stuff like filters and plugs. The clutch seems to be working fine. If I can't figure out what's going on with it, it might just go to the shop this weekend.
