My CBR 600F4I 2006

Ok, it's my 1st, ever! 1st riding experience! Ever!

So out of reading here, I realized that I need a new exhausting system, I realized through a thread that I have posted, that 2 Brothers seems to do what I need it to do, loud, not annoyingly loud, but loud enough, looks good as well.

But hey, I noticed that two pieces seats look better, so is it possible to have one of these on my bike? How and where to buy?

As well, the tail, doesn’t look like urs guys, so I think there's under tail piece as well, again, where and how!

Additionally, if you can see anything that I need to work on other than losing some pounds to look better on the bike, please feel free to post it!

So excited about it, and I feel like I have missed lots of fun! Called riding!

Loving it.

Peace!

Not trying to be an *** here, but since this is your first bike and a 600 cc is a lot for a beginner...I would hold off for a while making any expensive mods. There's a good chance that most first time riders will drop or crash, so personally I wouldn't want a lot of money in a bike that could get ruined. I hope you've taken a MSF course...if not I highly recommend doing so as soon as possible.

That being said..congrats on the bike, looks good!
You can convert to a two piece seat...do a search here I know there are how-to's. But you will need to buy the seats from an older F4i (they can sometimes be found here in the For Sale thread)
Not sure what's popular for the undertail...mine was custom made.

One more suggestion...buy some riding gear!

600 is not alot of power for a beginner unless your have a huge head. (I still don't know then)
Get atleast a textile jacket leather gloves and some kind of boot though for gear(maybe some riding jeans, unless your gonna drag knee). Um.. paint yourupper fairingblue[8D]to do the tail conversion you need the subframe/ tail/ and seats from a 01-03. IMO I would wait acouple months(maybe a year)because things like not putting the kick stand down all the way or down at all when your mind is somewhere else, does happen! But when/if you do the tail conversion Just do it and get it painted with the upper fairing. You can get the wing decal from tapeworks.com or check other places. I'm excited to see a blue f4i with the tail conversion (i have yet too). I love my bike but I probably wouldn't even look at other bikes if mine was blue lol For an undertail, it depends what style you want. If you like the dual rounds there alot of options. If not, then pimpbikes undertail. You then can buy a integrated tail light or integrate the stock one buy going to automotive store and buying a trailer integrater. But be sure to use search, you can find alot very good info.

If you like the way Two Brothers looks then go for it because they sound awesome! BUt if you dont really like it then go another route. Try googleing F4i exhaust and you will have a buffet of aftermarket exhaust for the F4i. I chose a Yoshimura RS-3 because of both looks and sound. The split seat is years 01-03 and the banana seat is 04-06. It will cost roughly $500 to do the conversion with usedparts. As for undertails there are not many choices. If you want to keep the stock taillight then pimpbikes is the way to go. My best advice to give you is to do your research and decide for yourself what you like. There is a lot to learn about your bike. And I think right now seeing as you already have a helmet your best investment would be sliders.

Additionally, if you can see anything that I need to work on
welcome to the forums AbiBsoul. Looks like a sharp bike. First things first, i think alot of people here would suggest that you take some kind of safety course such as MSF. Alot of new riders think they already know that stuff and dont really need to take that course. ill be the first to admit that you're never to good to take a course like that.

I understand upgrades are awesome, but truth be told, they arnt that cool on a busted bike.

Take a weekend and take a MSF course or something similar.

Get some safety gear, then work on upgrades,, get used to your bike,, 2/3 of accidents involve new riders.

trust us
