it mostly depends on how you ride it
are you always hard on the gas, maybe stoplight to stoplight?

i get around 40 mpg
but have seen as high as 57 on a trip to the beach

I get around 195 maybe 200 miles to a tank of gas, which is about 45-47mpg, but I ride about 15 miles to and from work mostly freeway, however my mpg drops dramatically when I head for the canyons!! It really just dpends on how you ride it.

Get a K&N or BMC air filter, and maybe a little better slip on exhaust. The better your bike can breathe the better it will run and the better mileage you'll get out of it.

yea i usually get 120-140 miles per tank which is around 34-38 mpg, which is a little inflated because my sprockets arent stock

i was surprised at how low my mileage was, i was expecting 40+ before i got a bike, but my other ride is a 94 silverado that gets like 12 mpg so im not complaining, lol

If I ride at 55 mph, I can get 55 miles to one gallon. But what fun is that? So I average about a 120 miles on one tank then my reserve kicks in.

I ride pretty hard, So maybe that about right to get around 30ish. I just order a sprocketkit last night. My rear sprocket has about 7 bad points all in a row. Im hopeing thats what been causes my rpm to bounce alittle. I just install my new subframe, its a beast; added about ten pounds to my rear. my kit is 15/48. whats stock for a 03 f4i?
