One only need one bike to fulfill your urge of riding....stay within your limit, not just in riding style for safety but also financial considerations. If one can afford NEW, who really wants used? So when buying used, stay within your limit and put yourself in a situation that if you sell your bike, you won't get too much for it, so why sell it...just like a old beat up Toyota/Honda that's runs well...but selling it won't yield you a great return....
Plenty of good condition bikes out their for the price range between $2000-$3500...I see some riders wanting a newer model that cost them over $4500.....so when you put such a strain on your wallet...then when money gets tight, you end up selling for a lost....rather buy something cheaper and keep it....
