Mirror wideners?

Mirror wideners?
Just picked up a 2005 F4i today. Only ever had cruisers before. Love the bike but I am not used to not being able to see who's behind me. The stock mirrors are narrow and the view isblocked by my shoulders. Are there some wideners or something designed to improve the rear view for the f4i ? thanks.

RE: Mirror wideners?
I ride an RR but the problem is nearly the same. I have to tuck my elbows to see. It's natural now, and doesn't affect my ability to *now*. It sucked at first. I haven't seen any wideners (or anything similar) and I would be afraid of hitting car mirrors while I'm splitting lanes (legal in Cali).

This is the only thing I have seen, haven't used them but could be an option for you.
Like the other posts, it annoys me, but I have gotten used to it and its just natural to pull in
the elbows to look now.

This pulling in can be very annoying. This is a pretty specific problem to sports bikes but it makes a difference on every single bike. Don't be too shy to get a mirror extender.

I made my own mirror extenders. They've been on my bike since whenever I first posted that thread, work brilliantly.

i saw aluminum 1 in spacers on eBay for like $20 :@
so i've made these 30 mm (1.2 in) spacers
i did them on CAD and had them printed in my university's library, it cost me $1.50 to print both and they do work!
i can only see a very little bit of my shoulder in the mirror and lots of what i couldn't see behind before
