Does anybody know if you get a slip on exhaust from one company, for instance, from two brothers, and want to try a different silencer, is it as simple as swapping the silencers, or do I have to get a new mid pipe for each one?

Also, if anyone has a mid pipe that fits an 02 f4i, and wants to sell it, message me, the one I have is pretty rough and if kind of like to replace it.

 

Im not sure really never had to do it. I suppose anything is possible though. I was able to put a devil high mount with a set of akrapovic headers though with very little modification.

 

I also have a 2002 F4I, they have at least 2 different size mid pipes, and I have both. I currently have the larger one installed on my bike because of the larger inlet for my muffler. I didn't even think about diameters, I was thinking more of bends...Guess I should look into what size my pipe is, I guess I was just assuming they were like trucks, pretty much one size for aftermarket.

tanrush: what brand was your smaller mid pipe? I can't tell in the picture what is was or if it had the spring mount spots or not.
