Michelin Pilot Sport Tires?

RE: Michelin Pilot Sport Tires?
I'v got the same ones. I think they are better than the Dulop 208, but probably not as good as the Qualifier or Pilot Powers in regards to traction. They do have better tread life. If you aren't carving up the canyons, these are probably the best tires for daily commuting.
I like to ride the twisties, so I intend to switch to PP when these wear out. I won't have as much tread life, but I'll have a bit better traction for the turns.

It is a good commuting tire. Handles nice, good traction in the rain, and is a sporty tire. I wouldn't necessarily buy one as a replacement, but their is definately no need to try and get a better tire on your bike, unless your going on the track. I used my sport's pretty agressively, and they hung in their til the end.

i have a set on right now, when there hot i dont have a problem with them in corning, i wore off my lil michelin man, but when there cold/warm they break loose in the corners, i find, my next set of tires is going to be Metzler M3's all i have heard was good things about them.

Sports are fine for commuting.
If you notice that you are riding them flat in the center and hardly wearing the edges, then you may want to switch to the Pilot Road or Diablo Strada tires. Sticky rubber is no good if you spend most of your time in straight lines.
Since gas went up I have been doing a lot of commuting on the bike. I am hoping I can still get to the twisties enough to keep my tires from squaring off. I run Pilot Powers. Big improvement over the Pilot Sport.
