Default Michelin or Metzeler for next season

Well it seems like my 2 choices are PPs or M3's.

Couple questions i have for both is:

1: How is tire wear with both?
2: How is rain traction in deep and slight rain with both?
3: How is dry traction/feel with both?

From the reviews i've been reading i plan on going with the M3's due to lack of feel and triangular type shape of the PP's and how they just fall into a turn.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Vic

i have m3's now and had pp's, the pp's had better wet traction, and did fall into corners which i liked but have leaned further with the m3's. m3's wear much better and have great dry weather traction and aren't bad in the wet either. i will stay with the m3's next time around. in dry warm weather i would say the are equal. hope this helps. traction wise you can't go wrong with either tire.

42 views? Come on i know more people had to try both of these tires out. All i keep reading is how the M3s are better then the M1s in rain and mileage.

I've had a few sets of PP's, and I just tried the M3 end of fall, so it's really hard to compare as of yet without being able to fully test the M3 out. However, from what I've seen from the M3 in the conditions I rode, it was really good.

The PP sports that I had were 5 yrs old so I wont comment on those... although I've ridden 60 highway miles through driving rain and didnt lose traction. The M3s are great once you give them some warm up time. I've done a track day with them and they didnt really wear all that much... didnt slip at all. I take it easy in the rain anyway, it's not just the rain but the oil and the mulch and visibility and sometimes black ice!

Almost everyone in the F4i world uses PP, but I gota say the M3 is a better overall tire that will last you a LOT longer then the PP and is just as sticky, i dunno how they do it =p
