Default Melting F4i

I got the sportech vflow chrome windscreen. It seems to be acting as a heat conductor. On two occasions while parked at work the sun/heat has melted parts of my digital spedo. Has anyone experienced or heard of such a thing.

never experienced it myself, but i've seen several postings to this effect. i don't think that specific type of windscreen is the issue tho -- seems to be much more universal.

If anything, you would think the chrome would reflect the heat away. ???
