it's ok if something is completely pink like a shirt or something.
pink accents would be putting it over the top. a completely pink helmet is funny. a helmet with pink accents...eh, pushing it there haha. see where i'm going?

regardless, i can care less if it matches the bike or looks cool. as long as i get the best bang for my buck on a quality helmet.

once it's on your head...it' gonna look the same regardless of the shell's color (unless of course you look at yourself in a mirror)

according to what my MSF instructor told me...any color is better than black as far as being visible goes. that being said the next helmet i get will probably be red to match my bike or white

If he had said due to heat I would have believed it. But it doesnt matter what color your bike, gear, etc is, ppl who dont pay attention arent gonna pay attention to bright colors any better than dark ones

they did also mention that the black will get hot in the sunlight...which i've noticed for sure...but most helmets are gonna do that anyways

...i've been looking for any and all excuses to give my wife (short of deliberately damaging the helmet), so she'll let me buy a new one

You can always check helmet harbour in gilbert, Todd is amazing. I have the bell star, Im sure its a 09 version as I had to get a small. My last bell apex and my hjc were both mediums.
