Manual cam chain tensioner ?!?!!

im going to replaced my cct with a oem one. i'll get an ape next time or just "fix" the one i pull out. but anyways, when i do go to replace it with an oem from honda,
do i just pull the old one out put the new one in and im done?? theres no adjusting right??

yea that's pretty much it...no adjusting. i think the manual has these so called 'steps' but mang...the mechs here don't do them and looking at it i'm not sure why you would need to do them...or is that for another part...anyway, just make sure you pull out the retaining clip at the back of the cctl at the very end, after everything is on there...then put the bolt and washer over it.

I got it in the mail today but my buddy and i went half and half on a handle of gin last night so it is NOT getting put in until some other time this week.

God, please make the room stop spinning!!!

Took my bike out today for a REAL ride today and I noticed the "can of BB's" around 5,500 RPM
Wasn't horrible, but something I definitely noticed. Bike only has 1,700 miles on it.


Miss Cleo predicts a new CCTL in the near future for my bike....but I'll see how much longer I can stand it.

Amazingly....I heard the damn thing OVER the (Micron) exhaust

How crazy is that!?!?

But like I said....it was ONLY at 5,500 RPM....that's the sweet spot for the rattle I guess

at 5500 the exhaust isn't even at its loudest so that's not too bad.
