oh wow, i thought it would have a paper gasket. that is pretty cool and saves you 10 bucks or so and the time to get one in.
looks like you may could stick a flat head right in there and turn it, maybe liquid wrench or seafoam deep creep if it's resisting.
maybe even some j/b weld or something since its so exposed, im sure you have it out by now.

Even if you don't want to drill it out etc, then a shop will do it for a reasonable price, should be less than buying a new pump. It doesn't look too bad ask a friend or someone who has used ez outs or delt with broken bolts, I would help ya for free, being the bolt is right there easy access.

thanks for all the encouragement guys but I'm going to just get the new pump, I tried dremel-ing a slot into the bolt and in the process scored a bit of the water pump so that's pretty much ruined now too. I spent over $80 on the dremel and ez-out bits (they aren't cheap) so after returning those I'm ready to just install a new pump.
speaking of the new pump, has anyone installed one? it says in the service manual to squirt some molybdenum oil into the water pump hole... what is molybdenum oil?? where can I get it?
