Default Main wire harness

I'm swapping out my wiring harness on my 2001 f41 and the black connection to the computer won't reach! It appears to be shorter than the harness I removed. Is there more than one design for this harness? Everything else plugged in and fit fine. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Know of a simple solution to this problem? I don't want to buy another harness if I don't have to...

Make the wires longer by soldering extensions to the ones that are too short.

It turns out the computer was located in the wrong place, got that problem fixed. But now that I've put it all together the motor doesn't want to turn over!!! I'm going through all the clips tonight to make sure they're fully connected. All the fuses have been replaced. Also the red light to the left of the neutral light has come on ( not the f1 light ) any ideas what this light means?

Have you checked the starter? Sounds crazy but jump the starter relay to see if it spins the motor. Check the Bank angle sensor, kill switch, make sure you are getting 9v to the pink wire on the Black Box "ECU". Neutral stand switch. clutch switch. Bike in neutral.

Also the Red light is Oil pressure light. It will go off once the bike starts up and the oil pump gets the oil moving. That basically tells you that the bike has low oil....but only works when the bike is running.
