Looking for the right word
Hey guys, English is not my native language, so im struggling a bit with finding the exact product im looking for...
I recently bought an '07 F4i instead of my old '95 F3, and generally im very happy with the swap!
There is a problem however, as the airflow now hits me right on the kisser!
I bought a double-bubble windscreen hoping that it would remedy the problem, but it didnt have the effect i was hoping for.
My friend who is a bit more experienced said that the tiny "lip" on the top of the F3 windscreen, and which is missing on both the original and the new windscreen on the F4i, could be the reason for the problem.
Now, he mentioned that a sort of adhesive tape could be found online. I imagine it to be solid plastic string in a D-shaped profile, something like 5mm wide and adhesive on the bottom side.
Anyone ever heard of this or even know the name of the product?

CLEAR TRIM MOLDING PROTECTORS DRESS UP DOOR EDGE GUARDS | eBay
I think you're looking for something along these lines... Trim is the word you're looking for. I also think it won't help you much, if any... :/

There used to be a market for windscreen deflectors, I had no trouble finding one for my old pichler fairing on my CB700SC in the late 90's. Now though, there are only a couple of players. Laminar is the major manufacturer that I know of. Laminar Products for Honda Motorcycles Hope that helps.
