Well, you've got a few choices. That lower cowl is yellow and the decals/stripes are black.

I was in the same situation with my wifes 2006. The left side was scuffed by the previous owners. I searched ebay for an inexpensive lower left cowl that was fully intact with minimal scuffing. I sanded it, cut a hole in it for frame sliders then had a friend paint it. Then I put the decals on it from Honda. As it happens, I just did finished it yesterday. Here are the before and afters.

After with ebay lower cowl from an 1999 F4.

        • You can have it repainted yellow and then put new Honda decals on it.
        • You can purchase a new replacement one from Honda for about $375 plus shipping. That will be a perfectly matched painted with decals and foam padding on the inside ready to install.
        • You can do a search on ebay for a used one.

        I needed this! Thank you!

How do I find out the paint code for my bike? It's an 03 954RR, the gray/black.

It should be on a label, usually under the seat. It's funny your bike has the same gray as mine. It's called Titanium Metallic.

        Check ColorRites site.

Keeping in mind that I (my friend) painted both lower cowls so I purchased the decals for both sides.

The fairing from ebay was $100 including shipping. $200 for all decals ($100 per side). My friend didn't charge me to paint the fairings, but I gave him $200 anyway. He mixed 1 pint which was enough to do both lower cowls with just a little bit left over. He already texted me saying he won't keep the money, but we'll see.

Wow... I think I'm just going to keep my eyes out for a new fairing.. for just one side it's not worth the trouble.
