A little concern - leak?

Unhappy A little concern - leak?

I've notice that I'm getting a couple of drips of thick oil coming from the gearbox area and im not sure if its a problem or just too much oil/lube on my can dripping after a ride.

Clean the area of concern and then monitor it. If it comes back, you'll
be more able to pin-point the location/cause. If it's a really slow leak,
you can elect to clean-up and top-off, instead of replacing seal/gasket,
(at least for a little while).

No need to panic, immediately.

ive just cleaned the bike thruout and it seems it was just dirt grim and excess oil but i will keep an eye on it thanks for the quick reply

you using chain wax? i've had buildup like that coming from my front sprocket before. and on the exhaust too, but different bike with a under chassis exhaust.
bottom line it gets everywhere if over applied and not cleaned regularly

yea i am using chain wax. (had it since i had a 125 :-| think i better invest in something a bit better, it wasn't cleaned very regularly but i do the body a few times a week and try do the chain sprocket oil ect every weekend so hopefully will stop, any recommendations for oil/lube?
