license plate flip

Lol you can always leave it if it flaps up...only if it happens at *high* speeds. My friend actually has a conversion kit for this on his RR and he flips it up every time he decides to open the throttle a little.

a good way of running from the cops and slipping thru ez passes lol

just get a magnet and put it on the plastic so the plate hits it when you swing it down, look and work better than velcro, i wish i would have thought of this, i have an 02 the same color and i hacked the fender off like that but my plate is just bolted to the fender and I unhooked the lock cylinder and hid the cable pull up behind the plate. It isnt odvious, ud have to really belooking for it to find it and even then if u didnt know what it was, u wouldnt think twice about it lol

i like it! What about illuminating the plate with a light of some sort? Does the taillight provide any light? I think the law in PA says it must be a white light on the plate but I could be wrong....

I was thinking the same thing but leaving a little gap between the plate and the light to put a little downward shining LED light for the plate.
