license plate flip

so the previous owner cut most of the fender and covred the key whole for the back seat with the license plate so for the past 6 months I would either not put anything in it or take one of the screws out which is much annoying.
finally had some free time from grad school to buy some hinges. I liked this option a lot better than going the easy route of just moving the plate lower. I really like wen the plate is right under the tail light Nothin spectacular but i thought i'd share Attachment 60952 Attachment 60953 |
Looks great, Very innovative.

A very clever idea indeed.
+1 !!! |
what keeps the plate from falling back down?

Are those hinges spring loaded? If not, does the plate flap around while riding?

If you have problems at high way speeds of it flapping i would suggest a huge strip of industrial strength Velcro.. That way it wont lift on ya.
