Default LCD Gear Indicator

Hi everyone,

Any thought on the gear indicator lcd display for 2001 f4i?? I live in Toronto Ontario Canada, anyone know any shops that supplying and installing them?

Are there any downfalls for having it??

I thought about getting one when I started riding but after a few thousand miles you get used to the engine and revs and it gets easier to remember which gear you're in.

I can't think of any downfalls or issues with them, except maybe the $100 they cost.

I have a GIpro on my '08 1000RR. Healtech makes a version for the 2001 f4i called the GIpro X-type. I'm not sure who sells it but I wouldn't suggest paying a shop to install it if you buy one. It's not all that hard to do.

Being able to glance down and instantly see what gear I'm in is one less thing I have to think about while riding. No more 7th gear phantom shifts for me.

Easy to do but not worth it unless its a track bike IMO. Downshifting to 1st without relizing it can get hairy on corner entry
