Whats the best way to put a key lock on a new undertail so it won't spin around? and how can you relocate the metal piece that holds the cable?

 

it should just be like it was on the back of the bike, clamps down with a "pin" type metal piece...and i had to take the wire out and loop it around the other way for it to work with my undertail. MAKE SURE THE KEY WORKS TO UNLOCK THE SEAT BEFORE YOU LATCH THE SEAT DOWN, that sucks...i didnt do it, but could see the troubles with it...

 

relocating the lock is actually simple. What i did was cut off some of the plastics tomake theundetail fit.first u gotta dissconnect the lock wirefrom the key lock part and then theres a clamp that holds thekeylock in placeso it doesnt turn. then cut off the plastic that is attached to the keylock.Then when u put it in the undertail or wherever just put that clamp back on and it should stay put. Havnt had a problem yet.
