man that sounds like a great deal...i got a good deal on an 05 that had front end damage got the guy all the way down to 1500! it wasnt in perfect condition it needs new nose fairing, headlight and speedo from the reck. It still drives and i rode it the other day and it is sweet! thats a great deal

 

Sweet find OP. I just got a 2001 for $2200. Very minimal damage on right side, but that's it for devaluations. I'm really looking forward to riding this thing!

Yeah I live in Washington but I bought it in Portland. I am well aware that it has been down. The damage was all cosmetic tho so I don't care. It's not a show bike but it still looks decent and runs great. For what I paid I can't complain.
