I have a D&D exhaust.. So depending on where I am is when I shift. If I am on the highway I tend to shift much higher.. 8-9k.. When I am riding in neighborhoods.. I tend to shift around 4-5k.. and won't rev match downshifts.. or blip the throttle at all. I live on a busy road with sportbikes going by every 10 minutes or so.. I know how annoying loud pipes are when you are trying to sleep.

good advice in here. The bike is very new to me and my friend told me that but I wanted to double check. When driving around daily it seems like 4-5k is the best time to shift as far as listening to the bike, just as most of you said. I love this bike

Everyone has some good advice, what you need to learn is the feel of your bike. Experience is something you can't buy, just learn. Drive responsible and have fun. Welcome to the forum.
