Default Instrument Cluster

Is the cluster pretty much a plug and play unit? I've damaged mine in a spill and it's busted the connection plugs. If I was to buy one of ebay would it work or would I need to get it reprogrammed etc etc?

Cheers

yeah it is plug and play, no programing needed, if you damaged the connectors on the ecu side of the harness you may have some problems but if thats the case let me know i i think i have an extra harness laying in the garage from my f4 to f4i engine swap.

You're a good man!! It's the actual connectors on the speedo unit however I've spent an hour or 2 straightening all the pins and seem to have had some luck. Bad news is I've damaged the casing (instrument housing) though, so will need to hunt down one of those. Rocking horse crap comes to mind!

you should be able to get just the case at either ronayers or bike bandit for under $100

or buy a used one that's close in mileage
