I know this has been discussed before, and that there's an excellent tutorial on CBRWorld. (Won't link, seems improper) However, I was wondering if any in our group has done this and how it turned out. I'm a bit nervous about doing it because of losing the temperature gauge. I'm not comfortable enough with the machine to replace the thermostat with the F4i one, I've never gone down in to carb land, yanno?

I would also love to see some pictures of how you mounted it and whether you made it look flush. I thought about cutting up the old instrument cluster and finding a way to fit it inside those plastics, but then again I'd love to be able to sell my F3 cluster to pay for the F4i cluster. =P

i've done it. it's easy. if you've done wiring before, you'll be fine. You can also drill and tap the threads of the sensor to make the f4i sensor fit.
