Installing Headlight/Upper Cowl
Ok so i removed my broken upper cowl along with the headlight about a month ago, and just recently received new replacements. I put all the bolts/screws/nuts in a plastic bag. If i'm correc there are only 5 bolts connecting the headlight and the upper fairing? And do i have to bolt the headlight onto the upper fairing first before i bolt the whole thing onto the bike itself, or can i bolt the headlight on then bolt the upper? And how does this bolt to the bike? Besides the mirror base scews and the i dont see how the headlight bolts to the bike.

RE: Installing Headlight/Upper Cowl
Since i have my upper cowl behind me with the lights disassembled i will tell ya
the headlight has 4 tabs that need to be screwed in to the upper cowl , also the head light has 2 plastic prongs that go in to the upper stay bracket ( the part that holds up your front cowl . its a bit of a balancing act since you have to get your front intakes to go in to the proper area, and get your front cowl on to the 2 screws that keep the rear view mirros on .
